Pickup and Activation Process

Bring your passport and order reference code to the pickup location

The line activates automatically once picked up and is ready to use immediately

Validity and Extensions

Validity periods start from the moment of activation (pickup):

  • Cubacel Tur Plus: 30 days validity
  • Cubacel Tur Básico: 7 days validity

Top-ups extend validity for some plans, with a maximum validity period of 90 days from activation.

After expiration, the SIM becomes inactive and unused balance, data, and minutes are lost. You need to purchase a new SIM card for continued service.

Phone and Network Requirements

Your phone must be unlocked (not tied to another carrier) to use Cubacel Tur SIM cards.

Supported Network Bands:

3G: 900 MHz (and sometimes 2100 MHz)
4G: Band 3 (1800 MHz)

APN Configuration:

Configure your phone's APN (Access Point Name) to "nauta" for mobile data access.

Additional Notes and Tips

The line includes both data and local voice/SMS capabilities, but most recharges only add data to the plan.
